Peanut Butter Mousse Fat Bombs Recipe

Peanut Butter Mousse Fat Bombs Recipe

Intro - Grocery List - Directions - Macronutrients - Leftovers and Meal Prep

We have already learned how to make some pretty delicious keto fat bombs and keto mousse, but what if you wanted to make peanut butter mousse fat bombs? Well with this recipe, now you can!

It's important to point out that this will be a high-calorie fat bomb dessert. Per our instructions, each serving will deliver approximately 518 calories and take up 7 grams of your daily net carbs. However, on the other hand, you are getting a 44-gram infusion of fats!

If you’ve already made our other keto mousse or fat bomb recipes, there are some key differences when making these peanut butter mousse fat bombs…

  1. In our keto chocolate mousse recipe, we used heavy whipping cream as a base. In this peanut butter mousse fat bomb recipe, we will be using a cream cheese base.
  2. In our chocolate fudge fat bomb recipe, we used coconut oil, butter, and flour as a base. Again, here we will be using cream cheese as the primary base instead.

If you don’t quite have what you need on-hand to make peanut butter mousse fat bombs, consider the recipes above.

Servings: 5  - Calories: 518 - Fat: 44 g - Protein: 19 g - Net Carbs: 7 g

INGREDIENTS LIST:

  • 1 cup of boiled water
  • 1/2 oz unflavored Gelatin (1/2 Knox gelatin packet)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 cup Natural Peanut butter (We used MaraNatha which has no added sugar)
  • 1 scoop TeamKeto Chocolate/Salted Caramel Collagen
  • 1 scoop TeamKeto C8 MCT Oil Powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 60 Lilly’s dark chocolate chips with Stevia

Ingredient Warning: be sure to check the nutrition facts on your ingredients before beginning. Specifically, many types of peanut butter, cream cheese, and chocolate chips can be loaded with added sugar. We tagged some specific brand name ingredients that we know are low-carb, however, they are not the only ones. Feel free to share your favorites in the comments section below!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Bring water to boil.
  2. Mix Gelatin and monk fruit in a separate bowl.
  3. Slowly add boiled water to the bowl and mix until completely dissolved, let cool.
  4. Mix together cream cheese, Peanut Butter, collagen, and vanilla.
  5. Beat in gelatin mixture slowly.
  6. Whip until a nice thick consistency is reached.
  7. Refrigerate for one hour before serving or partitioning.
  8. Separate mixture into separate serving cups, about 1/3 a cup per serving or 1/5th batch.
  9. Add Lilly’s dark chocolate chips or nuts of choice.
  10. Enjoy!

Meal Prep and Storage:

If you have leftovers in your household, you can seal extra servings up and freeze them for later enjoyment. Since peanut butter mousse fat bombs are so calorie-dense, it isn’t recommended to indulge in them too often. Even if you are hitting your total macros, you will likely be pushing ‘healthy’ options out of your daily routine.

But remember, healthy can still taste good on the keto diet! Consider a healthy keto recipe like this baked salmon with spinach and pesto keto recipe!
