Grocery List
Here are the ingredients needed for keto loaded bacon jalapenos. This recipe makes 2 servings.
- 3 Jalapeño Peppers
- 6 tbsp Cream Cheese
- 6 slices of Center Cut Bacon
Components
Your kitchen will require the following:
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Baking sheet
- Spoon
- Gloves (if desired)
- Parchment paper (if desired)
Directions
To make this stuffed pepper recipe, you’re going to cut and stuff the jalapeños, wrap them in bacon, and bake them until cooked thoroughly.
- Begin with preheating the oven to 375F
- While oven is preheating wash jalapeños, then cut the peppers in half.
- Remove seeds from the peppers using a spoon or your hands, and also remove stems and membranes (the white interior of the pepper). When handling peppers, be careful not to touch your face or eyes to reduce risk of burning eyes. For added safety, remove seeds with a spoon and/or handle jalapeno peppers while wearing gloves. If using bare hands, rub olive or vegetable oil onto hands, then wash hands with oil or grease-removing dish liquid.
- Place each pepper half on a baking sheet (line with parchment paper for easier clean-up), and fill each pepper with cream cheese. This recipe calls for adding 1 tbsp of cream cheese to each pepper half, but you can add as much or little as desired.
- Once all 6 jalapeño pepper halves are filled with cream cheese, take the bacon and wrap once slice around each pepper so that the entire pepper is covered.
- Bake stuffed peppers for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is cooked thoroughly
- Allow peppers to cool for 3-5 minutes before enjoying. These peppers can be enjoyed alone, or with another keto-friendly side/snack recipe

Leftovers and Meal Prep
If eating as a side, this recipe makes 2 servings (3 jalapeño pepper halves) to use for lunch, dinner, or as part of a snack. It’s recommended to eat these immediately after making, but can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days. Storing these stuffed peppers for longer may cause for the peppers to lose some of their crunch.
This recipe can be made in large batches and works well for large groups of people. If making these for a large group of people, the peppers can be stuffed and wrapped ahead of time. For optimal taste, try to make them the day of the event.
