Chocolate Hazelnut Mascarpone Buttercream

 

 

Ingredients and Directions:

2 sticks of butter, softened (1 cup)

8oz mascarpone cheese, softened 

2 cups powdered sweetener, sifted

1/4 cup cocoa powder 

1 scoop TeamKeto Chocolate Hazelnut c8

1 tsp vanilla 

1/4 tsp salt

2 tbsp heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate 

In a bowl, mix butter until fluffy, about 5 minutes, then add vanilla and salt and combine. Add  mascarpone and mix for another 3 minutes. Sift in powdered sweetener, cocoa powder, and c8.

In a separate bowl, heat chocolate and heavy whipping cream. Mix until well-combined. Allow to cool so that it does not melt butter. Once cooled, mix into butter cream mixture. 

Place in container in fridge until ready to use.
